THE MASCOT is a small-production wine label founded by Will Harlan in Napa Valley, California. The label consists of just one Bordeaux blend wine, composed of fruit from the younger vines of Harlan Estate, Bond and Promontory. The first release was the 2008 vintage.

Will Harlan, son of Bill from Napa's esteemed Harlan Estate, grew up among the vines of his family's property. After graduating from Duke University he started a price comparison website for outdoor gear, but wanting to join the family business he eventually returned to Napa with the intention of creating a more approachable brand with his family's famous fruit.

The fruit is sourced from multiple Harlan-owned properties from across Napa Valley. The wine is aged in bottle for five years before release, and unlike Harlan, which averages around $800, THE MASCOT currently costs just over $100.
